Atty. Benedicta "Dick" Du-Baladad, the Founding Partner and CEO of Du-Baladad and Associates (BDB Law) joined esteemed co-panelists Anti-Red Tape Authority Secretary Ernesto Perez, Department of Finance Assistant Secretary Dakila Elteen Napao, IT & Business Process Association of the Philippines President Jack Madrid, and ECCP Director Dr. Diana Edralin moderated by Mr. Bill Luz, Chief Resilience Officer of Philippine Disaster Resilience Foundation. Together, they discussed and gave their insights about the Ease of Doing Business here in the Philippines. This event was organized by European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (ECCP).


Atty. Dick discussed the challenges and complexities that businesses face when operating in the Philippines, particularly in relation to the Ease of Doing Business. She also provided insights into how the Philippine tax system compares to neighboring countries in terms of attracting foreign investment.


In addition, she provided her viewpoint on the tax reforms or initiatives that have the potential to greatly enhance the business environment in the Philippines.
